Upon encountering unusual or errant behaviour on Bookem, we might ask you to capture a screen recording to mail or message us. This article explains how to go about it on desktops.
For screen recording on your mobile device (iOS or Android) go here, otherwise read below for doing so on your desktop.
However, the easiest option on desktop is to use your phone’s camera and message it to our WhatsApp support number on +27 (0) 872500345
Open the app/window that you want to record
Press the Windows key and the letter G at the same time to open the Game Bar dialog
Check the "Yes, this is a game" checkbox to load the Game Bar
Click on the Start Recording button (or Win + Alt + R) to begin capturing
Stop the recording by clicking on the red recording bar that will be on the top right of the program window
Once the recording is stopped, a popup will take you to the recorded video. If you miss the popup, the location by default is "C:\Users\%UserProfile%\Videos\Captures"

Press Command + Space Bar, type in Quicktime
Open QuickTime player
Tap "File" at the top left of the display
Choose "New Screen Recording"
Click 'record button'
Select the area of the screen that is to be recorded
Hit 'start recording'
Stop the recording by clicking on the Stop icon at the top right of the display (target icon)
